Program Summary:
Bad faith insurance litigation in Kansas presents unique ethical and practical challenges for both plaintiff and defense counsel. This program examines those challenges through the disciplinary cases In Re Pyle and In the Matter of Studtmann.

The discussion will explore how Kansas law approaches insurance bad faith claims, the ethical pitfalls attorneys may encounter, and the complicated relationships that arise between plaintiffs, defendants, and insurance carriers.
