TBA Young Lawyers Division is hosting the 2023 Annual Meeting of Young Lawyers. This is the perfect time to get involved with the YLD if you haven't already. This meeting and division is OPEN to all current law students and new attorneys (practicing 5 years or less).

As my presidency term comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your involvement and support. It has been an honor to lead this wonderful group of people and I hope you all found the YLD a place of inclusion and acceptance.
Coming out of COVID, we have tried to restructure the YLD to be pure networking and stress relieving environment. Being a young attorney is hard. It was important to me that the YLD was a place that young attorneys and students could come and shed some stress. We tried some things that worked, and some that didn’t. We removed the CLEs and lunch-and-learns and created social environments that were about making friends and less about typical lawyer-ing. We wanted an environment where young attorneys and students felt safe to vent, ask for advice and to collaborate. I like to think we did that – or at the very least laid the foundation.
