Join some of the newest Shawnee County District Court Judges for essential tips on how best to advocate in their courtrooms. Learn what these new judges find to be the most - and least - effective advocacy strategies, their courtroom preferences, and what they wish they had known before they took the bench. This will be informative and valuable for all Shawnee County litigators, and an excellent opportunity to hear from some of our newest judges. Hon. Jason Geier will moderate the panel. Please join us for this unique opportunity and bring your questions. The panel will provide valuable insights regarding their perspective as new Judges, as well as practice pointers.
Sometimes knowing the courtroom is half the battle when practicing law. Join members of the Shawnee County judiciary as they share helpful insights and lessons learned for practicing law in the Third Judicial District. Panel members will discuss local criminal process, domestic practice, civil litigation, as well as Q & A for attendees.
