Join the TBA in Giving Back to our Community!
We’re excited to announce that the TBA is planning a series of community service events, and we need your ideas and participation! If you have any suggestions for how our members can give back, please reach out. Your input will help us organize impactful and meaningful events that truly make a difference.
We encourage all members to not only participate in these organized events but also to engage in community service on their own. Together, we can make our community better and stronger.
Let’s come together to support our community! Share your ideas, get involved, and help us make a positive impact.
The Topeka Bar Association invites you to join us in celebrating Law Day 2025 this May! This year’s theme, “The Constitution’s Promise: Out of Many, One,” highlights the Constitution’s role in uniting us despite our differences. It reminds us that our shared civic responsibilities—whether through legislation, military service, or everyday contributions—bring us together as one nation.
To honor this theme, we are expanding last year’s initiative by bringing TBA members into local schools to engage with students and discuss the importance of the law, civic duty, and the Constitution’s role in shaping our democracy. This outreach provides a unique opportunity for attorneys to inspire young minds and foster a deeper understanding of the legal system.
In addition to our school outreach, we are developing a Law Day community service project that will provide further opportunities for TBA members to give back. Stay tuned for details as we finalize plans, and we encourage all members to participate and help make Law Day 2025 impactful for our community.
Interested in getting involved? Have ideas for our Law Day initiatives? We’d love to hear from you! Contact Tana Griffith at tba@topekabar.com or LeTiffany Obozele to learn more.
Together, let’s celebrate Law Day 2025 by strengthening our community, educating future generations, and reaffirming the values that unite us all.
