Whatever the type of case, family, commercial, or multi-party, preparing for mediation is just as important as preparing for any other phase of the litigation or the dispute resolution process.  Investing a small amount of time providing information to the Mediator and preparing your client for the mediation process, will significantly increase the odds of a successful mediation.  Making your Mediator aware of difficult legal issues or novel client issues, will allow the Mediator to assist you in developing strategies to achieve your clients’ goals.
